ASELSAN’s satellite communication for unmanned platforms provides communication in all operational and environmental conditions.

Satellite communication system has a critical importance in terms of meeting operational needs such as the following in situations where other communication means are not available or its capabilities are limited, thanks to the fact that it enables communication beyond the line of sight and is little affected by geographical conditions, and it is an indispensable communication tool for military units.

Satellite communication terminals for unmanned platforms developed locally and nationally by ASELSAN; It enables secure and high-speed satellite communication on the move, in all operational and environmental conditions.

Although system solutions can be offered according to user needs, there are alternative solutions in different reflector diameters and output powers. In addition to enabling secure communication with the crypto unit in the satellite modem developed by ASELSAN; With the beacon receiver unit, high-sensitivity satellite tracking can be done continuously. With the integrated use of satellite beacon signal, inertial navigation system (INS) and gyro data, superior and reliable performance is provided in satellite tracking and stabilization.

The 27 cm, 45 cm and 53 cm reflectors for different platforms and the satellite antennas, which are designed as precision stabilized and developed specifically by ASELSAN with national means, are stored in a radome with high RF transmittance. Radom designs for the platform are made by ASELSAN. Although the systems are light and high-strength, they are also suitable for restricted residential areas thanks to their compact design.

Within the concept of network-centered warfare, unmanned land, sea and air vehicles started to be used more intensively and widely; Thanks to the satellite communication terminals developed, communication ranges have been extended and redundancy has been provided in communication systems.

With the satellite communication terminals developed by ASELSAN for unmanned platforms with equity, foreign dependency has been eliminated; It was also beneficial to increase the export potential of our country.
